This is a simplification of major events that have happened over the course of time since Vampire Monarchy, in all it's stages, has been around. As the Owner of Vampire Monarchy, I will begin with the creation of VM and point out major events leading up to today. This may not be completely accurate, but at least it provides a general picture of Vampire Monarchy over time. This is the non-fictional logistical history of VM.
Vampire Monarchy was FIRST created in 2006 to serve as a hub of paranormal conversation and the new-age belief of vampiric practice in the spiritually inclined community of people.
In 2006 Vampire Monarchy was adapted into a hybrid platform for both legitimate spiritual conversations as well as fictional role playing.
In 2007 Vampire Monarchy became mainly focused on the role playing aspect and saw a huge influx of just over 2K members. Many new systems were implemented at this time, such as the "claiming" system. This worked in the way where the King, Queen, Princes, Dukes, and Counts could claim new characters (played by other members) under their fold and effectively become their Vampire masters.
Later in 2007 Vampire Monarchy was deleted by an individual who hacked into my (owner) account. After this occurred "Vampire Kingdom", a copy-cat forum created by a traitor, was created and a virtual war began between the two forums. As a result of Vampire Monarchy being deleted, a loyal member of the crown swiftly created "Vampire Monarchy II" and helped to heroically redirect faithful members back into their rightful home.
Late 2008/early 2009 Vampire Monarchy II was phased out and Vampire Monarchy III was created. This was to declare an end to the feud war between Vampire Monarchy and Vampire Kingdom. Though peace reigned, Vampire Kingdom and it's traitorous staff would never be staff in VM and would never be welcomed as they plagiarized everything to make their own forum. Seeing their forum in chaos had many staff members around me (the owner) convinced that I had nothing to worry about and advised that I proceed by ignoring their existence and focus on simply bettering our own sanctuary here in VM.
Throughout 2009 role playing continued, but later it would become inactive and fewer people would show up on the forum all the time. Eventually in 2010 a revamping of the forum was implemented, thus resulting in the creation of Vampire Monarchy IV on proboards.
In 2010-2011 Vampire Monarchy IV was created on proboards and over time we began to transfer the role play from the previous, now derelict, website over to proboards. Many members had already become inactive thus resulting in a more modest population. At this point Vampire Kingdom had collapsed due to being un-original and a hub of non-stop chaos and drama. Versus Vampire Monarchy which while we are not perfect, had an original (obviously) and organized structure and direction.
In 2011 a new forum was created to generate new ideas and reignite a spark of creativity in the role playing community. The forum was considered a sister forum of VM and it was called "Ieraria". After about a year the forum was disbanded and members were directed to join VM4.
From 2012 to about 2016 VM4 operated with decent activity. Closer to 2016 activity fizzled out and VM became quiet for a few years until it was eventually recreated in 2019 as Vampire Monarchy V (current). Activity has never been very high since the creation of this forum, but it has always been between decent and modest. Our population needs work and has for quite some time. We also need more members who would be willing to consistently help moderate and code (design).
